Man robs Taco Bell in Greensboro

GREENSBORO — A man armed with a gun robbed a Taco Bell restaurant Friday night, police said.

About 11 p.m., the man confronted an employee who went out to the Dumpster at the restaurant at 2610 Battleground Ave., according to Greensboro police.

The robber pointed a black handgun at him and followed him inside.He then ordered all the employees to lie on the ground, police said.

The man forced one employee to open the register and the safe. He put the cash in a blue duffel bag and fled on foot.

Police described the suspect as black, in his late 20s or early 30s, 6 feet 3 inches tall, 150 pounds with a thin build.

He was wearing a black cap, light brown shirt, blue jeans and black shoes. His face was partially covered with a blue mask.

Police ask those with information to call Crimestoppers at 373-1000.
